Elementary school children slaughtered. Mall and theater shootings. On and on. The American culture of violence is moving swiftly to new destructive levels. I don't think it's the weapons. I grew up in a small town where every kid had a weapon. None of us thought of using guns in anger. No one did. Most of the shooters lately are of a generation raised on ultra violent media, FPS games, and all manner of violent imagery available at an early age on the internet. We reap what we sow. America has changed and not for the better. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the little kids who were murdered today.
