MARGINAL WAY SKATEPARK DIY

Donate!

Vote for us to get a $25,000 grant!

The Marginal Way Skatepark Association is a local non-profit organization building a recreational facility with volunteer labor and contributions.  Its mission is to design and build a legal skatepark in the SODO District serving youth from the Central, Beacon Hill, Georgetown, South Park and West Seattle neighborhoods.

The area where Marginal Way Skatepark now thrives was an underutilized piece of public property primarily used as a transient campground and garbage dump.  With the support of the surrounding businesses and the Seattle Department of Transportation, local skaters worked to clean the area and began construction on the concrete park in October 2004.  Marginal Way is now legal skatepark, completely built and maintained by local skateboarders.

Please help the Marginal Way Skatepark Association continue the creation of this unique and valuable facility. We are 501 C (3) registered non-profit corporation. Donations to the organization are tax deductible.  We need your support! For more information or to make a donation visit marginalwayskatepark.org

NEW MARGINAL WAY BASEBALL TEE at 35th North skate

New Baseball tee as a collaboration with Marginal Way Skatepark and 35th North Skate shop

Back in October 2004, this crappy wall ride was the first thing that was built! The park has grown plenty and countless people have pitched in to do their parts to help the park grow! It was the start of the park and its super cool to see where it’s grown to now. Tony at 35th has been a big part in helping us raise money to grow the park. The whole Seattle community has had our back and we are excited to see the next phases.
