To find the world that could exist after capitalism, we must look to the worlds already being created in the countless cracks of capitalist domination.

The Guardian is coming out with a new series, After Capitalism, featuring six short video clips in which speeches by renowned Leftist intellectuals are accompanied by animations from students at Central Saint Martins College.

The first part of the series features the words of revolutionary theorist John Holloway, Professor of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Puebla, and author of the influential book Change the World Without Taking Power: The Meaning of Revolution Today (full text provided by libcom.org). Holloway has been described as “the philosopher of the Zapatistas”.

The animations on the Guardian’s website were done by Carolina Aguirre, Lucas Gloppe and Magnus Lenneskog, but the alternative interpretation below was made by Ana Luisa Lolosidis, Kelly Cho and Vittoria Belli.
